Quarto (26cm); pictorial paper-covered boards and red cloth backstrip, with title label mounted to spine; publisher's original acetate dustjacket; [10],11-24,[4]pp. Tiny indentation to upper rear board edge, else very Near Fine in a lightly shelfworn, Near Fine dustjacket. A slim, attractive volume collecting 12 poems, several of which first appeared in the pages of The Hudson Review, the Nation, The New Republic, and Poetry Northwest. One of the few volumes of Oates's work published by Black Sparrow for which there was no simultaneous wrappered issue. MORROW & COONEY 284a.
