About This Item

New York: Harper & Brothers, 1921. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good/Very Good. 12mo., 337pp. Beautiful First Edition, bound in peach colored cloth with black and green illustration and titles on front board. Solid and clean throughout with very mild wear to spine ends and tips. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.00), has some chipping to corners and rubbing to folds and hinges. Rear panel and spine toning. Still complete and colorful and very scarce in any condition. A sharp collectable copy and quite uncommon, particularly in this high-grade condition. With the dust-jacket, rare indeed in the marketplace. (Hubin p.388) (Queen: The Detective Short Story, p.104).
