About This Item

Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1953. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Good DJ. First edition, very good blue cloth hardcover shows light toning along spine and at top and bottom edges, bumping to top corners with bit of tearing at top corner of rear cover, name at front endpaper and some other light trace wear, in a good + dust jacket (price at flap) cut just a fraction short that shows exposure toning along spine, soil and bit of staining, and edgewear that shows closed tears and open chipping (deepest an inch at bottom corner portion of front panel). 558 pages including index. Still a solid copy in jacket that will look good on the shelf of this award winning work from the noted political scientist and historian.
