Thick octavo, xiv pages, 558 pages; VG-/VG-; red and blue spine with off-white and black lettering and illustration of an eagle; dust jacket protected with a mylar covering; marked shelfwear and rubbing to the jacket; minor creasing and chipping to the bottom and top of the jacket at both front and back; marked soiling to the back of the jacket; 3 or 4 small closed tears at the top of the jacket at the back; marked creasing and chipping to the head and tail of the spine; two 0.5 inch long closed tears on the spine between the title and the head of the spine; creasing along either side of the spine; marked chipping and tearing to the corners of the jacket flaps; slight creases running the length of the fore edge of the jacket on either side of the text block; price unclipped '$7.50'; minor bumping to the corners of the boards and the tail of the spine; minor soiling to the edges of the text block; former owner's name and address inked on front paste down; shelved in Case 1.
