Hartford, Conn: Lincoln & Gleason, 1804. Hardcover. Poor. [1]-26, [3], 38-88, [3], 96-129, [1] p.; 17 cm. Contemporary calf spine; pastepaper over boards. Error in pagination: p. 98 misnumbered 89. The title copied onto the front free endpaper in an old hand. Former owner's name on front free endpaper verso and at head of p. [3]: Mollie J. Kellogg. At head of title page: "L.H. $34.55 3/4." Watercolor flowers added to p. [93] by former owner. Very scarce. In Poor Condition: incomplete: lacking pp. 27-34, 89-92, and 131-32; lacking leather at head of spine; boards are very worn, with loss along edges; lacking lower corner of title page, without loss of text; section lacking along fore-edge of pp. 101-2, without loss of text; 5-cm. tear from lower corner of pp. 127-8, without loss of text; light soiling throughout.
