A handsome, attractive book on the waterfowl and game birds of North America, and complete with useful information for the artist as for the hunter about each species. Complete with biographies of the artist David Hagerbaumer by David Maass, and of the calligrapher Sam Lehman by Lloyd Reynolds. Inside front flap is the note: "These original paintings and calligraphy were executed solely for this book" and were not to be reproduced elsewhere. Fine-looking, structurally sound hardcover, little discernible wear, bright interior, unmarked. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn, protected by a plastic coat. Bound, published, in an unusual format indeed, in oblong. Each of the 26 black-and-white and full color plates are full-page and then captioned opposite in a fine calligraphy; verso the text page is a black-and-white illustration at right bottom. Unpaginated, but roughly 60 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
