Original plain boards with paper spine label; quarto; [xiii], 159 pp. Title page printed in red and black. Inscribed on front endpaper by the author to "Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Kollmyer, with regard of Eward Robeson Taylor. June 5, 1907." W.B. Kollmyer was at one time Taylor's law partner. Edward Robeson Taylor (1838-1923) practiced law in San Francisco and was mayor of the city 1907-10. Printed by the Stanley-Taylor Co., San Francisco.
