A guide to painting on a variety of fabrics, from technical aspects of paint mixtures and brushes, to considerations of aesthetics and composition. Susan Hale was an author and artist, having spent some time training in watercolors in Paris and Weimar, Germany. GOOD condition. Ex-library with remains of spine label, interior pastedowns and stamping present. Some fading, minor soiling, scuffing and edgewear to the covers. Gift inscription present. Some toning to the paper.
