The University of Chicago Press. Used - Good. 8vo. Cloth, no dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering on spine. 209 numbered pp. First Edition; no prior publication date stated. Spine sunned, lightly rubbed at ends. Circular patch of discoloration on front board, presumably from the bottom of a glass. Hinges cracked, but holding. Previous owner's signature on front pastedown. Neat underlining and marginalia in blue ink, black ink, and pencil throughout. Else fine. A sound first edition in otherwise very good condition. Good.
