Rather than a book of recipes it is a literary appreciation of food history and culture. Fisher was a founder of the Napa Valley Wine Library. Octavo. Original orange cloth, titles to spine black, gilt design to spine, peach endpapers. With dust jacket. Fading to cloth at spine and along edges, offsetting to pastedowns, in the dust jacket with sunning to spine, chipping to ends of spine, splitting along flap folds, shallow chips to corners. A good copy.
