This is the second imnpression of the first edition published for General Circulation, the real first editions having been publsihed for private circulation in 1926. Full brown, buckram gilt, Dust jacket has not had the price clipped although there is some wear to the corners and slight creasing at the head, now consolidated internally with archive tape. The book has been rarely used and there are few marks, only occsional light spotting of eps. Slight fading of the buckram where light has penetrated the corners of the dust jacket. Printed "Lawrence of Arabia Memorial" sponsored by Allenby, Churchill, Bernard Shaw etc tipped in. Protective mylar cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12". First Trade Edition, Second Impression,. Hardcover. Synopsis
Seven Pillars of Wisdom is the autobiographical account of the experiences of British soldier T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia"), while serving as a liaison officer with rebel forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks of 1916 to 1918.
