Haggard brought together two of his most popular characters, Ayesha and Allan, in as late novel. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First American Edition in a Later State. Red cloth binding, ruled, titled, and decorated in black of the front cover; titling in black on the spine. Clean text; xviii, 392 pages; with a three-page publisher's catalong of Haggard's works in the rear. No errata slip indicates later printing.Tiny bit of rubto the margins; some very faint spotting on the covers; soiling to page ends. Lacking a dustjacket; in an archioval plastic protector.. Synopsis

She and Allan is a novel by H. Rider Haggard, first published in 1921. It brought together his two most popular characters, Ayesha from She (to which it serves as a prequel), and Allan Quatermain from King Solomon's Mines. Its significance was recognized by its republication by the Newcastle Publishing Company as the sixth volume of the celebrated Newcastle Forgotten Fantasy Library series in September, 1975.
