A shepherdess leads a small flock of sheep and cows along a path past a partly ruined building.Etching on thin wove paper, sheet size 270 x 198 mm., platemark 255 x 183 mm., made by Frédéric Théodore Faber (1782-1844) after Étienne Théolon (also: Théaulon; Aigues-Mortes 1739-Paris 1780). Signed and dated 1807 below the image. Numbered 28 from a series of 36 similar landscapes.In good condition, lower left margin corner dampstained, sheet overall mildly darkened.Reference: Hippert & Linnig i,246: 35 (ii/2).
