Philadelphia: Claxton, Remsen & Haffelfinger, 1870. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Green cloth boards, octavo, 308pp., frontispiece and illustrations in b&w. Book has soil and rubbing to boards and spine, corners and spine ends worn through, gilt decoration on spine rubbed but still legible, binding tight, endpapers have small marks where tape was removed, otherwise text toned and gently foxed, slight grubbiness in margins. No DJ. Howes K-31.
