New York: Harper & Brothers, 1864. Half Leather. Good binding. Four Victorian novels bound together in one. Being a reprint of Charlotte Bronte's Shirley, with perhaps the First American Editions of each of the following, Anthony Trollope's Rachel Ray, Eliza Tabor's St. Olave's, and Dinah Craik's Mistress and Maid. Each was published by Harper & Bros. of New York, in the year 1863, 1864, 1863, and 1863 respectively. Previous owner's name on the title page of each. Significant wear to the joints, loss to the tail of the spine, creasing to the spine, and minor toning to the endpapers. Half calf with a black leather label, over marbled paper boards. 206; 128; 162; 120 pp. ("Eliza Tabor Stephenson" At the Circulating Library accessed 1/10/2019). Good binding.
