First edition, near fine blue cloth hardcover shows some faded marking at top corner of front end paper and some other light trace wear, in very good price-clipped dust jacket that shows mild exposure toning along spine, light soil and edge wear that includes short closed tears and shallow open chipping at spine ends. 356 pages with illustrations. Still apleasing copy of this "..story of French painting from A.D. 1230 to 1930 told in non-technical language and illustrated with 48 plates in half-tone.
