Longmans, Green, and Co., 1893. Hardbacks. The volumes are bound in quarter morocco with gilt page tops; the bindings show some wear, the front hinge of the first volume is peeling but the binding remains strong; the other bindings are sound. The endpapers have an owner's bookplat e with some foxing. The title pages have an owner's inscription. The texts are clean and crisp throughout.
