Arranged alphabetically by author and other main entries; gives author, brief title, size, printer, date, reference to entry of item in the Stationers' registers, and indication of libraries possessing copies. Contains "abridged entries of all 'English' books ... copies of which exist at the British Museum, the Bodleian, the Cambridge University Library, and the Henry E. Huntington Library, California, supplemented by additions from nearly one hundred and fifty other collections. Spine faintly spotted, some stains to rear board, otherwise Good. Laid in is a 1927 one-page autograph letter signed by the bibliographer R.B. McKerrow on Bibliographical Society letterhead to Sir Robert Hudson, in which McKerrow discusses the arrangements for the distribution of the 1926 edition.
