Red cloth, titles stamped in gilt on the spine, black front and rear endpapers, ix [blank], 131 pp., foreword, illustrated from photographs, portraits, bibliography, index. The story of Miller from the time he was eight years old when he murdered his own grandparents to 1909 when he died by lynch mob in Ada, Oklahoma. "Jim Miller was probably the most dangerous man in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico during the declining years of western frontier violence." Former owner's names on half title page, else fine bright copy in rubbed dust jacket with moderate wear to the spine ends, corners and light wear to the extremities.
