Bound in publisher's original half-vellum spine with title label printed in red, over gray paper-covered boards. Very Good. Toning and light soiling to covers; darkening and small chip to title label. Previous owner bookplate to front paste down. Pages toned, and foxing to prelims and terminals. Initially met with slow sales, this this title would soon rapidly grow in popularity within the first decade of its publication, spawning many parodies, and even inspiring composers to set poems to music.
