Tail of spine slightly bumped. Original paper covered red slipcase with title plate. Discoloration and wear to slipcase. Three-inch tear along bottom edge of slipcase. Bookplate of previous owner to inside of front board. Color frontispiece. Wonderfully illustrated with full page color paintings by Sylvan Sauvage. Translated from the French by Mrs. Wilfrid Jackson. Slipcase in fair, book in very good condition.
