Her training in calligraphy at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, followed by the early years at her Rainbow Workshops and marriage to the architect C H James, led to many freelance commissions as a designer for some of the most progressive and prestigious clients of the inter-war years, including London Transport and the Curwen Press. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
