About This Item

Paul S. Eriksson and Fitzhenry & Whitside, 1978. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is the first Canadian edition. The interior is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The blue and grey covers are fresh, with only a hint of wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in very good condition, with light wear and one short (1") closed tear on the front panel. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: People said that Karin MacKay's mother was a silkie -- half seal, half woman -- who decided to live her life on dry land when she fell in love with Ian MacKay, a fisherman.
