Size: 6 By 9 Inches Pages : 36 with 14 illustrations Condition : A fine original copy. ; Comments : This vintage pamphlet has wonderful illustrations through out. The book was written by William De Matteo A master silversmith in Colonial Williamsburg, His talents were recognized by the American Institute of Architects which awarded him its Gold Medal. In 1975 he was the first American silversmith inducted into the Goldsmiths' Company in London. His company Hand & Hammer Silversmiths, William De Matteo, his son Chip and Phil Thorp, were commissioned to design and make presentation silver for every president since Kennedy; William reproduced the famous Paul Revere lanterns to hang in the Oval Office.
