About This Item
Minton, Balch & Company, 1928. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in Very Good DJ. First edition, near fine maroon cloth hardcover shows some light shelf and trace wear including previous owner marks at top of front pastedown and bit of soil at page edges, in very good price-clipped dust jacket that shows some mild rubbing and soil, hint of toning along spine and edgewear that includes clsoed tears and shallow open chipping. 252 pages with half a dozen illustrations. Still a pleasing copy of this installment in the Minton, Balch American biographies series that tells of "the life of an infamous renegade of the American Revolution, who cast his lot with the British and the Indians, and guessed wrong.
