A very rare pamphlet comprising papers sent to the St. Paul Daily Press in the Fall of 1863 dealing with the uprising and hostilities encountered by the Sibley & Scully expedition through the northern plains. It's recommendations include waging a fierce campaign from Minnesota to the Black Hills in order to protect settlers in the future. In near fine condition and beautifully bound in 1/2 red morocco with gilt lettering on the spine.. First Edition. Modern 1/2 Red Morocco. Near Fine.
