About This Item
A marvelous first printing of the first American edition signed directly on the title page by Nadine Gordimer, winner of the 1991 Nobel Prize in Literature [Simon and Schuster New York 1956]. The book is near fine with only the lightest toning/discoloration on the front end paper. It has a tight and square binding, no owner inscriptions or highlighting and a lovely clean olive top stain. The dust jacket is also near fine, price-clipped, with light rubbing on the back panel but no chips or tears. The jacket is now in a removable archival cover. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information and/or photos of this highly collectible book.
