About This Item

New York: Ray Long & Richard R. Smith, 1932. O'Flaherty (1896-1984) was born on the Aran Islands; "Skerrett," one of his less common titles, is set there. This is a Very Good Plus copy of the First Edition. Red-orange cloth binding with black lettering. Clean text; 274 pages. Cloth is bright, but there is some spotting on the rear panel. The very striking dustjacket is complete, but shows some wear at the edges; the green colour of the spine has faded. Still, an attractive book, and uncommon. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
