Beautiful newer endpapers multi color and gilt floral designs. Some very minor foxing and a short clean tear to p19 of vol.2 no affect else the books are near fine. Nice set priced to go. The Sketch Book is a collection of essays and short stories written by American author Washington Irving. The collection includes two of Irvings best known stories - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle. Irvings use of the pseudonym Geoffrey Crayon was employed throughout his career.
