Light wear to gutter throughout. Complete with eighteen full-page plates, including frontispiece. (Dornbusch II: 888) (Howes I98) (Nevins I: 112). This volume contains Izlar's retelling of the Confederate loss at the Second Battle of Fort Fisher and his experience at the Union prisoner of war camp at Point Lookout in Maryland.
