Preface states that `these pages are a reprint of the most amusing and interesting chapters of the `WINTER STUDIES AND SUMMER RAMBLES IN CANADA`, first published in 1838, in three octavo volumes, favourably received at the time and now out of print.` Full leather with gilt lettering and decoration on pannelled spine. Some light scuffing and corners rubbed. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Light foxing restricted to prelims and to last two blank pages. Previous owner`s name and `Greek Prize Dec. 1853` neatly written in ink.. New Edition. Leather. Very Good. 12mo.
