New York: E. Ferrett and Company, 1846. Leather_bound. Fine. Royal 8vo in three quarter green morocco over lighter green linen cloth, ruled in gilt. Raised hubs, Spine ruled and lettered in gilt and with shamrock-design inlays in the compartments. Top edge gilt. The Illustrated Edition. Lithographic first title page printed in gilt and colors. 383 pp. Profusely illustrated with full and partial pages engravings throughout the text (full page plates with tissue guards). A tight, internally bright example, trace of small, shallow tidemarking upper border of first aprox. 80 pp. Fine is fine and tight, spine strip just a bit faded to olive, rather than emerald, green.
