First edition, first printing. 220pp. In red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Top text block edge sprayed red. 12mo. Cloth a little worn, gently rubbed and faded at corners and spine ends. Top text block edge dust darkened. Endpapers very slightly toned, pages creamy. In its original dust jacket, chapped at edges, worn, with some loss around base of spine Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape of adhesives. The dramatic story of a man god who exchanges his heavenly powers for earthly existence.
