Kurt Vonnegut published dozens of short stories and a clutch of Science Fiction novels, but it was with Slaughterhouse 5 that he really got noticed and celebrated.
This copy first edition is internally clean and without inscription. It has slight ages marks to the book-block edges and to the ffep. The jacket is bright with no tears, but has edge wear at the top of the spine. and v slightly on the bottom. A modern classic.
Synopsis
Slaughterhouse-Five, or The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death (1969) is an anti-war science fiction novel by Kurt Vonnegut about World War II experiences and journeys through time of a soldier called Billy Pilgrim.
