The binding is bumped with the top corner of the front cover frayed & chipped. The edges of the covers are slightly darkened & the joints are stained. 267 & [1] pages plus colophon. 268 photographic illustrations in color and black & white. The page corners are lightly bumped with creasing to the top corners of 3 leaves, else the contents are very good. <p>First edition.<p>Laid in is a 16-page booklet listing the illustrations in Czech, Russian, German and English. The lengthy introduction by Rudolf Fabry and the picture captions in the book are in Czech.
