Self Published, 1984. Assumed First Edition . Trade Paperback. Good. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2. 136 Pages.There are the remains of a small name label on the front cover top corner near the spine area. Author's inscription on the front endpaper reads "5/3/84 To Gene Dounem Thanks Marion V. Allen". First three pages beginning to lose their glue. Snap is the story of an unusual horse who was born on Buffalo Bench, Wyoming, in 1910. Homesteading was at its peak in that district and a homesteader's survival depended more on his horse than anything else except his own ability. This story covers a period of time approximately from 1910 to 1930. Without the horse the history of the West would have been a lot different, and the horses in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 1910 were a mixture of many kinds.
