Illustrated by Peter Scott in colour halftone and monochrome line. 4to (252 x 180mm). Blue cloth boards stamped in white on the spine and in white and black on the upper panel. Name of ownership in ink on the front free endpaper else Very Good without dustwrapper.
Synopsis
Paul Gallico was born in New York in 1892. He became a minor celebrity as a sports writer and then began writing short stories for magazines. Gallico went on to write many more short stories and novels, including The Poseidon Adventure in 1969. He died in 1976.
