The Social Chess Quarterly first published in October 1930 with six volumes running through numbers 1-23. It was absorbed by Chess July 1936. Volumes 3 through 6 have added title"... and "Solo Chess" Supplement.
Condition:
Wear to wrapper edges, some with chips, lacks numbers 11 and 12, Volume 3 and numbers 21 and 22, Pages show bent tips, wrinkling, discoloration marks, and a number of the pages have some pencil notation. Covers show bent tips, wrinkling, fading, discoloration, moisture stains, and back cover is missing two sections of the cover. Some occasional marginalia A good to very good set.
