Edge and corner wear, scuffed and scratched, top of the spine is chipping with a very small portion already chipped away, corners are lightly bumped and rubbed, shelf worn, 335 in white on the base of the spine, small sticker in the upper corner of the inner front cover with Ed 24 on it and 320 in ink there as well, front hinge is beginning to crack (binding is still nice and tight), overall a clean, rare and collectible first American edition! Wonderfully well-preserved! Very very scarce and hard-to-find! Red cloth with stamped black illustration and lettering on the front cover and a black stamped illustration of a tree on the spine and gilt lettering there as well. 218 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical pages! Extremely rare first American edition!
