Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Illustrated paper over boards, 318 pages, extensively illustrated in black and white. This book is signed and inscribed by the author George Gay on front free end paper. George Gay (1917-1994) fought in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was the only member of his 30-person squadron to survive the Battle of Midway.
