Academic Press, London . New York, 1960. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition (ex-library)/No Dust Jacket. Foreword by editors, list of contributors to volume 3, contents of volume 4. The text is illustrated with the occasional figure, graph or line drawings navy blue coloured cloth covered boards with self embossed publisher's initials to the front panel; with, gilt coloured titles to the back strip. The results at a International conference held in Brussels in 1958 dealing with pure and applied physics in the electronic and telecommunications fields. This book is annexed library copy, from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library, and has the faults of same: – library stamps, including cancellation stamps to the end pages and to the title page. Library barcode sticker to the lower left hand corner of the title page and to the top left hand corner of the front panel; library sticker to the lower edge of the back strip. The due back pocket is still in situ to the rear paste-down. Rubbing of the book corners and softening of the back strip edges. Rubs and marks along with some faint patchy fading to the panels with noticeable fading of the back strip. Very light age toning of text block edges and pages. Foxing to the front text edge and to the lower text edge. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - XVI, 557, [3] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1.
