Washington, D.C.: C.P. Farrell, 1880. Book. Very Good. Cloth. Stated 5th Ed.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. SCARCE. The Torah is examined, and the author takes Moses to task for chastising his people for idolatry before he provided them with the Ten Commandments. The author was a famous agnostic of his time. Pages 278 with 8 pages of Ingersoll and publisher advertisements at the end. Burgundy cloth with gilt title on front and spine. A gilt lettered quote on the back says "This is the only correct edition of 'Some Mistakes of Moses', R.G. Ingersoll Oct 1, 1879". Stated fifth edition, one year after the first. .
