Synopsis

Col. Robert Morgan, USAF, Ret., was the first Eighth Air Force pilot to successfully complete twenty-five bombing missions over Europe. He completed twenty-six more missions in the Pacific, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Leaf Clusters and the Air Medal with nine Oak Leaf Clusters. Still an active flier, he lives with his wife Linda, also an active pilot, in Asheville, North Carolina.
