Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages and plates are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Some plates are detached but remain present. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Heavy splits to spine joints. Scuffing and light marking overall. Minor dark marking and water staining.
