London: Constable & Co. Ltd, 1924. First edition, first printing. Published by Constable & Co. Ltd. in London, 1924. This is a near fine copy. Issued without a dust wrapper. The original publishers boards, with black impressed titling are attractive and mostly clean. The spine tips are slightly crumpled. There are some slight stains to the front panel. The spine is generally clean but with some slight rubbing. The internals are clean but the front fly leaf is toned; the text blocks are slightly toned and foxed throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine condition. A collection of 25 short stories published after Mansfield's death by her husband. The earliest story was written in 1908 when Mansfield was nineteen years old.
