Set in Iris Murdoch's native Dublin in the 1950s, this is the story of "independent-minded Yvonne, nearly too old to be a bride, who continues to believe that there is more to life than marriage to Sam, the dutiful Jewish man who is courting her." 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
