About This Item
New York: The Heritage Press, 1935. Tall, slender octavo. Red blind-stamped leatherette, gilt spine. Illustrated endpapers. Liberally illustrated throughout, "The book is designed and decorated, and the initials illuminated with pure gold by hand entirely, for the Heritage Press by Valenti Angelo" -- from the colophon. Toe of spine frayed, the red board slipcase chipped and rubbed with the lower edge missing one inch closest to the spine of the book. Internally near fine, externally as listed above. A beautiful book.
