In the original pictorial paper-covered boards with an IDENTICAL pictorial dustjacket. All delightfully Illustrated by HAROLD JONES. First Edition THUS, First Printing, with these lovely Illustrations by Harold Jones. The head and tail of spine of the boards are VERY slightly bumped, NO damage. The book is VERY Clean and Bright. The dustjacket is lightly spotted (foxed - pale brown spots) to the reverse, which shows through a little on the jacket, predominently to the back cover. The dustjacket has a small nick (0.5 cm) , with loss, to the head of the d/j spine, and a minute nick to the bottom of the d/j spine, both now neatly 'repaired' and tinted to match. The dustjacket is NOT price clipped. NO Inscriptions or other Marks. Overall an EXCELLENT, VERY CLEAN, TIGHT and BRIGHT copy. It looks Unread. No pagination. 4 beautiful colour plates and enchanting black and white illustrations throughout by Harold Jones. One of the best copies I've seen, but not perfect - The BOOK is near AS NEW, The DUSTJACKET has a few minor flaws, as noted above, but is overall VERY GOOD, and is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks near FINE.
