About This Item
University of Cape Town, 1939. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Signed. The front end page has been signed and inscribed by the author, Alfred Hoernle, in black ink. The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, and the corners are a touch knocked. Despite this, they remain strong and square with gold gilt to the spine. Internally, the end pages are tanned and foxed, but this does not extend into the body. There are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp and complete. The binding is secure. JK. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
