New York: Harcourt, 2002. Signed on the title page by Scott Carpenter. First edition / First printing. Blue paper spine, white paper-covered boards. Very fine in very fine dust jacket. Carpenter was one of the original Mercury 7, and our fourth man in space. Carpenter went on to be an Aquanaut for the SeaLab Project. He was the author of two science fiction novels.
